Why do I have to pay to pick up my mail
Date Paid: 8-4-2013 09:06:07 | City: Ibadan
Date Reported: 2013-04-25 04:14:43 | Department: Communications
Paid N1,000
Office/Company: NIPOST
Transaction: Customs Duties, Levies & Imposts
Bribe Type: Personal
Detail: Whenever I go to the Post Office at the University to pick up my packages, the staff there always extort money from me. They will ask me to open the package there in front of them and then charge me based on the contents of the package. Even though they give me a receipt, I don't believe this is legal in any way. Why should I have to pay for my mail even after the person sending it to me has paid for delivery?
